Housing

By angeline - Posted on 10 May 2013

Accommodation in Norway is relatively expensive. It generally requires two incomes. However, some houses have at least one apartment attached to rent out to supplement expenses. Due to the harsh climate, housing in Norway is normally of a high standard.

It is common that one looks for houses/apartments on the internet, e.g., http://www.finn.no/eiendom/ finn.no(in Norwegian).

Flats and houses are also posted for sale in newspaper, e.g., in Aftenposten http://www.aftenposten.no/ . Look for the sections marked "Eiendommer" or "Eiendomsmarkedet". You can find a list of other Norwegian newspapers http://www.norske-aviser.com/ .
